Daniel and Ciaran have an update on some changes happening at Target Internet which we hope you all our listeners will find of value.

As you may or may not know, Target Internet produces a whole host of different learning and training materials of which this podcast is just one part. We also publish regular articles in our Resources section which if you haven't dipped in and read recently we highly recommend.

You can also sign up for our email updates which are every fortnight, and we also have a digital marketing skills benchmark which will highlight areas you need to increase your knowledge on to be great at your job in digital marketing. Target Internet’s digital marketing skills benchmark assesses your digital skills in a variety of digital marketing disciplines against industry standards and best practice according to main job focus, level of seniority and industry sector. Anyone can take part and it only takes around 20 minutes to complete. At the end of it, you will be given an action plan of blog posts and podcasts and paid subscription-based modules which will help you with knowledge areas you need to improve on. You can take advantage of our paid for online training modules with a free two week trial for those you keen to give some of these online learning modules a go.

Daniel also talks us through formal accredited and non-accredited informal training and the pros and cons of both.  We also share some of the ways we stay abreast of the learning workload everyone needs to embrace if they are to remain on top of the ever-changing digital space.
